CGJA Internal
Concept
⚠ Concept — This project is not yet in development. It describes an idea we're exploring.
Overview
The Civil Grand Jurors’ Association of California (CGJA) produces internal reports on how grand juries operate — training materials, procedural guidance, and assessments of jury effectiveness. These documents inform the practice of citizen oversight across the state, but most are not easily accessible to the public or to sitting jurors outside their own county.
This project aims to digitize, index, and make searchable a collection of CGJA internal reports, giving current and prospective jurors a clearer picture of how the grand jury system works in practice, not just in statute.
